Lauren Evans is a Chartered Accountant, award-nominated business advisor, and the creator of The CFO Layer™ & Finance Like a Boss™. With more than 23 years of experience, she helps founders and executive teams turn financial complexity into disciplined forecasting, sharper decision making, and sustainable commercial performance.
Lauren Evans is a Chartered Accountant and founding partner of Inline Partners, a Sydney-based accounting and advisory firm. Over the past 23 years, she has worked across Australia, New York, and London, advising growing businesses and executive teams on financial leadership and strategic decision making.
Lauren co-founded Inline Partners while pregnant with her second child and scaled the business from $80K in turnover to a seven-figure advisory practice. She built the CFO and strategic finance division from the ground up, transforming it from a traditional compliance service into a commercially focused advisory arm supporting growth-driven clients.
Before launching Inline Partners, Lauren began her career at Grant Thornton and later held senior finance roles at Lendlease, where she led board reporting and financial transformation across complex, multi-entity operations.
Today, through The CFO Layer™ and Finance Like a Boss™, Lauren works with growth-focused businesses to strengthen forecasting discipline, embed financial systems, and elevate decision making at leadership level.
